chin up buttercup

boys... why are they so oblivious and confusing? that remains a mystery. tonight I went out to dinner with my dad and a cute best friend of mine. on the ride home we were talking about boys and how they always seem to make you feel self conscious if you aren't what society tells you ya should be. that really got me thinking. i feel like too often boys only observe what's on the outside not on the inside. which isn't what should occur but does. I felt so sad that she felt as if she needed to play a sport or be itty bitty to be loved. if I can say one thing to you it would be that it isn't true. you are an amazing girl with the best personality! you have so much love to give and your time will come I promise :) keep your head held high my darling. he's missing out. as for my other bffs I hope you're having a marvelous time on your date sissy and at work sugar :) sweet dreams to all and to all a good night.

happy thanksgiving

this thanksgiving was way different than any other. why? simply because I was lucky enough to go on a cruise to Ensenada Mexico. let me just say that it was by far the best thanksgiving. while we were in Mexico there were so many women and children on the streets asking for money. it made me so sad. then it made me think about how lucky I really am. i get to sleep in a heated/air conditioned home. I have everything I need. I have food to eat. Warm showers. A bed. these are the little things that I know those people on the streets would kill to have. Also while in Ensenada we got to do a lot of shopping. When I say a lot I mean it. My brothers spent more money then I did. They were such the bargainers and loved doing it. The cruise was easily the best vacation yet. On the ship there was everything you could possibly want to do. One of my very favorite things was watching people sing karaoke. It was so entertaining. The mini golf was also a blast :) I hope all of you had a magnificent thanksgiving because I certainly did.

#22

when I first heard we would be stopping in st george/mesquite for jaxons football tournament i couldn't wait to finally get to go somewhere warm. wait it's not that much warmer than good ole Orem. disappointed? BIG time. my crazy wild little brother decides to play every sport possible which means lots of time at games and such but I love being able to support him. He's a stud might I say. normally I don't get too sick of football but when you're stuck with the video camera (lots of pressure to capture everything) and its freezing cold it's not so fun. but I love being able to support him :) we had a funny experience when we got back to the hotel. jax has lots of crazy girls after him and I happened to be sitting right next to him when he was explaining to a little girly that he lost his game and she responded and said "im soooo sorry! I'll always be here for you." might I say my little bro is 11 yes ELEVAN years old.!8 couldn't believe girls are so aggressive so young haha. it makes me sad because that also means that they are growing up. no more movie nights and snuggles. oh wait that means since they're getting older i will be able to snuggle with jax and gage with dates! Ahh. To crazy to think about. Well I'm exhausted. go #22 :) prepare yourselves for picture overload! sweet dreams to all!

grateful for so much

i think that sometimes life goes by way too fast that we don't really take the time to look around and be grateful for all that we have been blessed with. personally i am so grateful for so much. two people that i am especially grateful for are my parents. they do so much for me and have given up so much to raise me and my brothers. i see how strong my mom is and i admire her so much for that. i honestly have no idea what i would do without her. she is always there for me when i have a bad day or when i decide that i hate boys and then two short minutes later i love them again. bottom line im grateful for my mamma and hope that i can be like her when i grow up. next up is my papa. i wish that i had more time with him but i have learned not to take the time that i do get for granted. he works so hard to give me everything that i need and i know that he would do anything it takes to make me happy. there are so many more things that i am grateful for including the two little hooligans that i call my brothers. they have the sweetest spirits and teach me so much every day and have so much love to give. at this particular moment i am beyond grateful for the gopsel. i feel so blessed to have it in my life. i love learning about it and recieving blessings. life is precious and the things that we have we shouldn't take for granted because quite frankly they could be gone in the blink of an eye. anywho. happy thanksgiving! take some time to be grateful for what you have because i know that i have so much to be grateful for. goodnight my darlings .
